歐典營養師開發團隊並指出，一般的營養素常僅含單一營養的補給，而「敦品營養素」飲品則擁有均衡營養配方，符合衛福部國人膳食營養素參考攝取建議量（DRIs），並富含3大均衡營養素及28種維生素礦物質，營養比例依照衛福部的營養建議量，且是依人體健康所需的各種營養重新組合而成，每日飲用能補充三餐攝取不足的營養，也可取代正餐，更可滿足日常營養補給、攝食不便、病中病後調養、咀嚼不便需流質飲食、身虛調養等族群的營養需求。
